Mozambique and Angolan Air Companies Share a Commercial Accord

Mozambique Airlines (LAM) and Air Transport of Angola (TAAG) reached an agreement in Luanda on Wednesday intended to facilitate affordable and convenient air travel for passengers of both airlines.
The agreement allows passengers from Maputo travelling LAM to Luanda to choose between returning to Maputo on a direct flight or via Johannesburg on the TAAG flight and then from Johannesburg to Maputo with LAM.
From now on, LAM will also offer daily flights, either direct (twice a week) or via Johannesburg (with TAAG as carrier, at no additional cost).
Under the agreement, LAM passengers with intercontinental destinations (Lisbon, Porto, Havana, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro), as well as regional destinations (Sao Tome and Principe, Lusaka, Brazzaville, Bangui, Douala and Praia).
