The difficult access is worth the trek with the combination of lazy villages, endless sand, incredible reefs for diving, swimming with dolphins, fishing, and lots of waves, the "Pontas" are unmissable for beach fans. Enjoy one of the Pontas, but if it's the gold one (ouro in Portuguese), please call it Ponta do Ouro, and not Punta du Oura - an amazingly common misspelling.
